Hello all, I'm rebuilding a 55 Squariel. The bike has been burning a bit of oil. I pulled one intake and exhaust valve set and oil is getting through the guides. Is there anything unique about the guides? Has anyone installed seals on the guides? My Norton has seals on the exhaust valves only, my Triumph has no seals. New pistons and rings will also be installed.

GUides are out, the head has oblong guide holes. Going to get the head welded around the guide holes and bore for oversize guides
