Canada calling. I am trying to figure out how the large battery platform is fitted. I see that there are two holes through the top of the primary and assume these are part of the platform fixing. Are the tabs on the bottom of the platform threaded or are there through bolt/screws with nuts fitted? Thanks for your help. Tony

Hi Tony,
I'll assume my '53 MK II is the same. Yes, there are through holes in the primary cover to attach the battery box. Sorry, I can't remember now, but I believe there will be a nut on the backside. Unfortunately, my box is a bit of a mash-up, so I can't advise as far as the actual battery-to-base hold down.
Phil

Thanks that is very helpful and what I was anticipating. On another topic, just discovered to day my clutch pushrod is not the correct one, and is too short. Does anyone know the correct length? Appreciate the help.
