Thanks for your post. It would be difficult for anyone to make a purchase decision based on that one blurry photo.
Please try again, get the bike out in the light, and take meaningly photos all the way round the bike (unless you have something to hide!
Thanks,

Re: Rocker Oil Line
Yes I have.. In fact I've documented both installations in this same section.. Just read further down I installed the Morgo after all the teeth on the oem drive were worn flat. That may have been the contributing factor for my thrown rod. The Morgo has internally limited pressure around 65-70 PSI. M...

Caveat - BE CAREFUL OF SCAMMERS
These days it is all too easy for a criminal mind to "borrow" images of another owner's bike, then post that bike for sale on forums such as this. PLEASE.. observe the following safe practices when purchasing online: * Be aware there is no warranty nor restitution if you are scammed via a direct sal...

Re: Rear Brake
Hey Greg, Have no worry, the pedal height will resolve itself once you get your footpegs on. It turns out that the left side footpeg itself functions as the "stop" for the brake pedal (the pedal, of course, to be positioned UNDERNEATH the footpeg), and, you will note the footpeg is on a "cranked" sh...

Re: 1951 Mk I nattery platform
Hi Tony, I'll assume my '53 MK II is the same. Yes, there are through holes in the primary cover to attach the battery box. Sorry, I can't remember now, but I believe there will be a nut on the backside. Unfortunately, my box is a bit of a mash-up, so I can't advise as far as the actual battery-to-b...

Re: Square Four won't start
Hi Paul, I share your pain.. these things seem to never come together without a bit of hand wringing. Wish I could help you, but sounds like you are taking the same steps I would. The only advice I can give is that you consider posting your issue on the British Ariel forum as well, which has a much ...

Re: cold start and 1st start...
Ah.. what a lovely little engine on that Guzzi.. I'd die for that. Great sound on the road as well, appears to be very smooth. I've taken the liberty of posting your video of an actual ride on this bike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7scht3RhwR4 I'm just completing resurrection of a '75 850T which...

Re: '58 Sq 4 Head removal
Hi Paul, Unless you have some strange aberration, no doubt your engine has the 18 studs just like all the MK II engines. Here's a good head/block explosion on the Draganfly website, which may be similar to your manual: https://www.draganfly.co.uk/ariel/4-stroke/category/703-mk-ii-sq-top-end-1953-58 ...

Re: Trickle chargers and positive ground systems A cautionary Tale
only thing I could think of would be to run the coil power wire (positive in your case) through a relay, whose negative "trigger" post comes from the negative wire to battery (or to chassis ground). That way, if connection between battery negative and ground is disconnected, the relay contacts would...
