Solex Carbs

Information on Solex carbs even with the factory brochure is not very informative. Does anyone have advice on setting up the choke? Appreciated if there is.

I am looking for information on whether the factory supplied a stop light switch as standard for the Mk 1 Square Four. Also on the oil tank oil level decal. What type was used. If anyone can help greatly appreciated.

Still looking

Front brakes on a Mk I are good, but could really do with support from the back brake. I am still looking for a brake arm for a 1951 Mk I Square Four. Any help will be appreciated. cording@shaw.ca

1951 Mk I Square Four Brake arm

Hi, Canada calling, in the final stages of a full restoration of a '51 Mk I Square, and am in need of a rear brake arm and return spring. The brake arm is the kind that points down if that makes sense. Contact at cording@shaw.ca will be appreciated.

Does the steel plate have a washer behind, and is there a tried and true method for easy slip on? Many tha...

Thanks that is very helpful and what I was anticipating. On another topic, just discovered to day my clutch pushrod is not the correct one, and is too short. Does anyone know the correct length? Appreciate the help.
